Dark Occvlt Ritual are a duo from Brazil that has been featured before in this zine and plays a musical style I would describe as being occult dark ritual ambient and this is a review of their 2015 ep "Hazardala" which was released by Ater Lunae Templi.
Dark sounding drones start off the ep along with some atmospheric elements and you can also hear noises being utilized in the background at times while synths have a very strong presence on the recording ad they bring in a heavy influence from ambient music and as time goes on by the sounds of thunder can be heard in some parts of the song which is over 33 minutes in length and is also the only song present on the recording and the song is instrumental.
Dark Occvlt Ritual creates another recording that is very ritualistic and occult but done in more of a dark ambient direction, songwriting and vocals are all absent from the recording with the music being all instrumental, while the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Dark Occvlt Ritual and if you are a fan of occult and ritualistic dark ambient, you should check out this ep. 8 out of 10.
